Gently exfoliate with these DIY fruity facial masks while sipping on a perfectly paired cocktail.
Hold on there girlfriend! As much as you might be itching for a facial scouring, resist the urge to over-exfoliate. While most do-it-yourself scrubs are perfectly lovely for your body, they can be too harsh for your face. Coarse sea salt, coffee grinds and nut shells (step away from that apricot scrub!) in facial scrubs can lead to red, irritated skin. Go too crazy and you can create micro scratches on the skin, leaving it prone to bad bacteria and breakouts. Opt instead for gentle physical exfoliators like ground oatmeal and chemical exfoliators found in fruit and dairy.
Even better, pair these DIY fruity facial masks with delicious cocktails because, well … why not?! Who’s ready for smooth skin and even smoother libations? Here we go!
