Soak your cares away with this revitalizing mint foot soak.
This recipe is a home spa staple. Grab the fixings from your backyard garden or local grocer and you’ve got a no-brainer foot soak! Mint has anti-allergic properties and is a natural skin cleanser while rosemary has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. Plus, both scents work together on an aromatherapy level to give you a burst of energy.
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup each of fresh peppermint leaves and rosemary sprigs
- 6 cups of water
Here’s what you do:
Bring peppermint leaves and rosemary to a boil in a medium-sized pot of water. Turn off the heat and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain leaves out. Add strained mixture to 1/3 a foot basin and fill the rest of the basin with cool water so you can soak comfortably. Relax for 20 minutes. Pat your tootsies dry and slather in moisturizer or follow with Sunny’s Tired Tootsies Remedy.
