HerCut for Blunt Cuts

Product Review: HerCut Haircare Rocks Your Cut!

by alexisgeorgopoulos on April 15, 2010

I know I can speak for many of us when I say I love the feeling of freshly cut and styled hair. Every time I leave the salon my hair feels bouncy, shiny and healthy. Unfortunately, this awesome feeling doesn’t last long. Days after, I always find myself yearning for that fresh-from-the-salon feeling.

Well, now weeks, even months after my salon experience I have that shiny, weightless feel all over again thanks to my new favorite hair products from HerCut! The HerCut haircare collection is the first line made specifically to enhance your haircut. I didn’t believe it at first, but it really works. Not only does the shampoo and conditioner leave your hair smelling fresh and clean, but the styling product has some miracle ingredient (called a “catalyst”) that makes it super easy to blow dry! I can’t speak for those of you who were blessed with naturally straight and shiny hair that doesn’t even require a brush to blow dry. But I can say that for those of us with curly or wavy hair, it requires a time commitment to achieve a decent blow out.

I know I mentioned the system above, which includes the shampoo and conditioner plus the catalyst styling product. I tested the Blunt Catalyst, which was designed to smooth and control angular lines that shape your face. However, I have experimented with the shampoo and conditioner alone and still achieve amazing results! After the blow out, my hair is full of luster and smells super fresh. But if you’re a set kind of girl I would definitely recommend the full system. The catalyst adds an element of sleekness and leaves your hairstyle looking hot!

Check it for yourself! The HerCut styling products come in formulations for bobs, long layers, blunt, shag  and pixie cuts. Products start at $22 and are available at select Sephora stores and sephora.com.
