From this week’s Sonoran Living on ABC-15, the most unique spa treatments in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area:
Quantum Biofeedback (60 min., $150) at VH Spa for Vitality + Health at Hotel Valley Ho, Scottsdale. A bio-energetics treatment for everything from smoking cessation to deep relaxation. Electromagnetic sensors are placed on the temples, wrists and ankles to scan the energetic state of the body. Once scanned, the machine feeds back frequencies to neutralize destructive wave patterns.
Blackberry Balm Hand Massage (30 min., $80) at Spa Avania at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch. This intense hand and arm massage was created at the spa specifically to alleviate pain in joints for gadget freaks and has spread throughout the country at other Hyatt properties. Beyond Botox Facial (60 min., $199) at Willow Stream at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The first spa in the country to launch this age-defying facial, this treatment was created by the founders of B. Kamins cosmeceutical skincare, who believe that Botox does not have to be the only option for youthful skin.
Wigwam Warm Water Ritual (135 min., $320) at the Red Door Spa at The Wigwam Golf Resort, Litchfield Park. While most treatments are available at Red Door Spas nationwide, this ritual is exclusive to the Wigwam. The treatment starts with ceremonial tea and foot bath, followed by body mask and culminating in Desert Sage Massage.
Four Seasons in One (80 min., $205) at The Spa at the Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North. The spa’s signature tour of the seasons, this body treatment includes a peppermint scrub, warm herbal wrap, massage medley and hair and scalp conditioning treatment.
