Phoenix hair salon hosts 15th annual fundraiser to help prevent pet euthanasia.
For the 15th year, Mane Attraction Salon is once again joining forces with RESCUE, a local nonprofit animal rescue that works to find loving homes for cats and dogs, with the Beauty to the RESCUE event. Taking place Sunday, March 1, it’s a fun beauty fete where your payment for services like haircuts, deep conditioning masques and blowouts will go toward the animal organization. The entire event is an effort to reduce euthanasia at animal shelters across the Valley.
This year, Mane Attraction has set a goal of raising $20,000 to help find loving homes for the more than 45,000 unwanted pets dropped off at shelters across Arizona.
Here are the details:
- Who: Pets and their owners can enjoy a posh beauty treatment as they help raise money for RESCUE.
- What: For a minimum donation ($30-$75 for haircuts, $10 for Deep Conditioning Masque and $20 for Blow Dry Style), anyone can join in for day of personal primping – or even treat your pet to a stylish new look including on-site mobile grooming and a washable chalk dye job. Guests will enjoy complimentary beverages and award-winning BBQ food from Bobby-Q and music by DJ Blake Ascension. Meet and mingle with the boutique vendor booths offering everything from pet portraits and artisan jewelry to fresh baked goods – all while supporting your favorite furry friends. Other exciting offerings include soothing chair massages, healthful vitamin B-12 shots and professional psychic readings, for both you and your pet!
