Skin Care by Klara is the place to go for highly effective skincare therapies that merge blissful treatments with cutting-edge technology. Tucked in the bustling Promenade shopping center in north Scottsdale, the day spa welcomes clients with a warm and soothing vibe created by neutral tones and flickering candles. Tastefully placed statues and artwork from Greece speak of owner Klara Kalemkerides’ Greek heritage, where she honed her passion for beautiful skin at a young age. After relocating to America, she continued on her path toward helping her clients achieve healthy glowing complexions and has been practicing for more than 20 years. A self-admitted neat freak, Klara designed the fastidiously clean space herself to be gender-neutral but with a intimate, European spa-like atmosphere. Each of three treatment rooms hide lockers for clients’ personal belongings and plush treatment beds draped in cuddle-soft blankets and crisp sheets. A fourth treatment room is dedicated solely to airbrush tanning.
