1. Cleanse & Prep
Oat Milk Cleanser. In a food processor, blend 1/2 cup oats until finely ground. Mix with 1/2 cup powdered milk. Wet with purified water just enough to make a creamy liquid and gently massage on face and neck. Rinse.
2. Exfoliate & Treat
Pineapple Peel + Potato Bomb Eye Mask. Blend a handful of fresh pineapple until smooth and frothy. Strain the juice with a fine sieve and dab the juice generously on face and neck with cotton ball. While the pineapple dries, lay back and place a potato bomb over each eye. To make your bomb, grate a clean, peeled potato. Place a spoonful of the grated potato in two small spice bags or wrap each in cheesecloth and tie with a string. Rinse your face and neck after about 10 minutes.
3. Tone & Brighten
Grapefruit Toner. Mix the strained juice from 1/2 a grapefruit with a 1/4 cup witch hazel and apply with cotton ball.
4. Soothe & Firm
Cucumber Aloe Firming Gel. Mix the stained juice of half a cucumber with 1/2 cup pure aloe vera gel. Apply a thin layer to entire face including eye area with fingertips. Follow with sunscreen or your nighttime moisturizer.
Tips:
-
- Be sure to strain the fruits and vegetables well with a fine mesh strainer
- Test all treatments on an inconspicuous spot (like the inside of your arm) before applying to your face.
