Zap fatigue with this nourishing DIY apple mask.
Has a crazy work week taken a toll on your complexion? Zap fatigue with this uplifting, all-in-one facial mask! The dash of apple nourishes your skin with vitamins A, B and C while gently lifting dead skin cells and impurities. Along with a host of antibacterial and antioxidant properties, honey will help your skin retain moisture. The final kick of skin-soothing oatmeal and gently exfoliating cream will restore that rosy hue. This mask is ideal for most skin types but be sure to test it in an inconspicuous spot (like the inside of your arm) before using.
Here’s what you need:
- 1/4 of an apple
- 1/2 teaspoon half and half
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon oatmeal
Here’s what you do:
Peel and finely grate the apple and then add the remaining ingredients. Mash with a fork to reduce the texture, and then apply the apple mask to a clean face. Relax for 10 minutes. Rinse and follow with moisturizer.

That’s half and half as in the dairy product. You can also use heavy cream or milk.
